Using these images will require the end user to give credit to the
original owner and must follow the guidelines in the copyright
agreement. Credit is given when the image is inserted into a blog, web
site, visual media, or print similar to citing sources in a term paper
or newspaper article. To help an individual find images there are many
image search engines available. These operate by searching for images
tagged or labeled with certain key phrases that the image search engine
searches for. Along with the image search engines, image archiving
stores images in multiple resolutions and sizes to be available to end
users. The archives are set up in a database that stores the image data
as well as meta data in a standard XML format. This means that platforms
of any design can access and retrieve the requested information. Image
archives also work in conjunction with interactive media applications.
