Whoever first decided to incorporate Wifi connectivity into printers was onto a good thing. The technology enables multiple people to share the printer without complex networking. It's also perfect for notebook owners who can print without getting manacled by USB cables. The only downside to date has been the cost: consumers interested in printer portability had to spend more than $100 for the privilege.
Fortunately, now
Epson has corrected this oversight by releasing the NX420: the first ever printer incorporating 802.11n Wifi available for $99.99. The printer also includes Scan and Copy functions, and special features such as Automatic Photo Correction and Red Eye Removal. Perhaps best of all, Epson promises the NX420 will take
ink cartridges costing as little as $8.99. In other words, wireless printing suddenly became much more affordable.
The new printer isn't presently in stock at the Epson store. As soon as it becomes available though, expect to find
